Oregon Camping
Family campgrounds to visit all year long….. while drinking Bend Cider Co.
Fall
Lost Lake Campground- Hood River
Surrounding you with a majestic old growth forest, everywhere you look there seems to be adventure to be had. Wether you are huckleberry picking, mushroom hunting, birdwatching, biking, hiking or boating there is space to just be (and of course drink your Bend Cider. Tucked away camp spots, yurts and cabins have trails right out the back. The lake is rimmed with cliffs of color changing trees. This cider buzz is de-stressing and meditative. Our Chai Cider would be best here.
Winter
Belknap Hotsprings - McKenzie Bridge
Hook up your trailer or rent a cabin here towards the end of fall/winter. Watch the bald eagles soar over head while getting cozy drinking Bend Cider. Steam from the soaking pools fill the air, it feels that much better getting in when the air is cool. Bundle up and hike around the gardens or wilderness trail, take a short drive and explore some of the waterfalls surrounding the area. We choose Bend Cider Co. Sarsparilla Cider.
Spring
Loon Lake- Reedsport (area)
This adorable lake “ is ideal for camping, picnicking, hunting, fishing, water-skiing, sunbathing, swimming and hiking. The natural setting among the large Douglas-Fir, Western Hemlock and Red Cedar trees”. I love that is is close to the beach but protected from the wind. They have cabins to rent, RV hook ups and tent camping overlooking the lake. Try Bend Cider Co. Lavender Vanilla Cider.
Summer
Bull Bend Campground- La Pine
Fishing and floating are the things to do here. This campground is a little island with the Deschutes river surrounding it. You can float in circles for days. The actual campground has no hook ups but very large sites- great for group camping! Maybe a keg of Bend Cider Co. for this one - DRY !
